Musical Jewellery Boxes We are known throughout the world for our exquisite hand crafted musical jewellery boxes that are made in the traditional way using only clockwork spring wound musical movements. The wooden boxes are manufactured to the highest standards using fine woods & veneers with marquetry made by cutting tiny pieces of different coloured wood veneers to create the beautiful designs. The inlay is given depth from shadowing created by burning the edges of the veneer pieces in hot sand and fine detail added by hand with a special ink. Woods typically used are burr elm, walnut, bubinga, palisander, maple, and other European & exotic timbers.
