Vintage Musical Jewellery Box with Reuge 36 Note
This vintage wooden inlaid music box has a Reuge 36 Note musical
movement which plays when the lid is opened. Matt burr elm with a
lovely rose inlay.
Condition - Fair to Good. Movement in good working order, box
overall is good, although there are a few small marks as expected
from age related wear & tear. There is a small imperfection on
the lid inlay (top right of the rose), possibly from
discolouration/movement of a filled section when it was made as is
under the laquer. There is a dent visible on the hinge when opened -
see photo. Velvet lining is clean & tidy, lock is working &
with key. Comes in a plain packaging box which is very scruffy.
